Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital is a meaningful gift from the World Federation of Democratic Women to Vietnamese women and children. On 11/21/1979, the hospital was established under Decision No. 4951/QDTC of the Hanoi People’s Committee.
Located on a densely populated land at La Thanh Street, Ba Dinh district, with a total area of 19,557 m2 with favorable terrain, near residential areas and the city center. The hospital has become a reliable address in reproductive health care for women in the capital and some neighboring provinces and cities.
To implement the strategy of protecting and taking care of people’s health,e Ministry of Health and orienting the health work of the Capital, Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, is continuing to complete the development plan 2020, building a new hospital. The hospital is increasingly civilized and modern to meet and satisfy all the increasing medical examination and treatment requirements of the people of the Capital.
