Dynamic Passbox

Passbox is a term to refer to equipment used in clean rooms such as transfer boxes, delivery cabinets, transmission cabinets, …. There are two main types of Pass Boxes today: Dynamic passbox and static passbox

Dynamic pass box is a type of transmission cabinet for transferring objects between the uncleaned medium to the cleaned medium. Dynamic pass box can automatically clean the crown and objects during the transfer. Dynamic passbox has other names such as self-cleaning passbox, dynamic passbox.

Classification Dynamic Pass Box

Similar to Static pass box, dynamic passbox is also classified by interlock. Or classified by laminar flow passbox and air shower passbox.

• Laminar Flow Passbox: This type meets high standards producing laminar flow with high cleanliness. Thanks to that, the laminar flow passbox can clean all the dirt on the goods before being put inside the clean room environment.
• Passbox air shower: This type is equipped with an additional air nozzle system to blow away dirt and dust on the surface of objects.

Dynamic Passbox Configuration

Passbox has a basic structure including parts such as:

• Control panel
• Interlock
• Pressure differential meter
• HEPA filter
• Filtration
• Handle and UV Lamp

The exhaust fan has the effect of pushing clean air into the passbox. The air before reaching the fan must go through-> HEPA filter to clean it before dispersing through the air cooler inside the transmission cabinet.

The body of the cabinet consists of a profile, a socket, a control and an interlock. Cabinet doors include handles, sealing gaskets, and tempered glass.

Dynamic passbox interlock plays an extremely important role to protect a clean room from cross-contamination. UV lamp is used to disinfect during shipping.

Working Principle

The principle of use of Dynamic passbox is extremely simple. Here, the cabinet components blow dust with clean air filtered through a HEPA filter to remove dirt. Then, the germicidal UV lamp will remove the bacteria for a certain period before being brought into the clean room.

• Always ensure the power supply during operation
• Clean the inside and outside regularly with a lint-free cloth.
• The two doors of the passbox must be closed
• Check periodically and before each use to make sure the passbox is working properly. Especially UV lamps and interlocks.
• Always ensure the cleanliness of the items before, during, and after the transportation process.
